GUYLIAN BELGIAN CHOCOLATES REBRAND
Guy and Liliane joined their names and named their company Chocolatier Guylian. Guylian chocolate is a handmade chocolate truffle made in Sint-Niklaas, Belgium. Guy wanted to create the ultimate chocolate experience with every bite. Since 1999, Guylian has been a major sustaining sponsor of Project Seahorse. For the rebrand, The target audience is luxurious, sophisticated, and classy. The desired message was the euphoric chocolate tasting experience, rich, unforgettable taste, and delicate. The square box displays the packaging is classy. The overall look is sexy and sophisticated with a pop of color that gives the table more character. The logo has a handwritten feel with a clear subtext. The seahorse will represent their passion for the Seahorse Project. They are their number one donor. The three colors represent colors that can be found in the ocean.
The look and feel of the packaging:
The square box displays that it is a classy product. The overall look will be sexy and sophisticated with a pop of color to give the box more character. I want the boxes to be beige with clean black type. The logo will have a hand written look with a clean sub text font. The seahorse on top of the name will represent the shape of the chocolate and their passion for the Seahorse Project. The texture around the box will be taken apart from the seahorse to give it a more ocean texture. The sleeve will have a color that will represent a flavor of chocolate. The sleeve is an additional touch to give the box a sophisticated feel. The three colors will represent colors that are in the ocean.
